Gorgeous Oceanside Wedding at the OceanCliff in Newport

1/30/2017

Amanda and Matt embarked on their lifelong adventure 12 years ago. They had no idea that their friendship would one day lead them to the altar. The day came where they readied their wedding ensemble; Amanda wore a gorgeous white, jeweled dress, while Matt represented a handsome gray tux. Matt chose his best man, the only person he had ever imagined standing by his side on such an important day, his brother, and Amanda embraced her loyal and loving sister as her maid of honor.

They prepared themselves for this romantic day, surrounded by their closest friends and family. A day colored with blush and silver, and adorned with soft flowers. Enjoying their moments before the ceremony with their wedding party, performing heartwarming first looks, sharing the love and laughter that will continue to fill their lives forever, and declaring their love for each other through their vows. We absolutely loved working with the talented Zev Fisher! Take a look at some of his gorgeous images of the day!
Here at Next Level Films, we had the opportunity to capture so many precious moments within Amanda and Matt’s wedding through videography. That is why we have compiled some of our favorite aspects that made their wedding so beautiful, so be sure to continue reading to discover more:

  • Venue. Amanda and Matt joined their loved ones at the beautiful venue, The OceanCliff Hotel. This breathtaking venue, resembling a small castle, was the perfect place for them to join their lives together, forever, in marriage. With a stunning view over the water, gorgeous grounds, and excellent craftsmanship, this venue truly was the cherry on top of an already enchanting day.
  • Toasts. They had many loved ones, gathering to support them as they began their journey through life together. The “more handsome and more intelligent” big brother of the groom shared his fond memories of the couple, his love for his brother, and welcomed the bride into the family with open arms. The father of the bride told the guests how proud he is of his daughter and how he adores her groom, also welcoming him into the family. Amanda’s maid of honor, her older sister, and best friend, told of her love for her sister and expressed how happy she is that they have always been there for each other through thick and thin. It was such an inspiring occasion to watch the bride and groom’s family support them and welcome their new marriage.
  • Love. From childhood friends to happy newlyweds, this couple unknowingly started their own love story many years ago. They grew with each other, laughed with each other, and bonded with each other. This incredible friendship lead them through a happy childhood together and landed them waterside, standing in front of a whimsical, white altar, decorated with soft and exquisite blooms. After a graceful walk down the aisle, accompanied by her father, her groom Matt took her hand, with tears of joy in his eyes, and escorted his stunning bride on stage. They bared their souls in front of their loved ones and sealed the deal with a fairytale kiss.

It is such a touching experience to witness two people, truly in love, vowing their life and loyalty to each other. Here at Next Level Films, we appreciate the opportunity to capture such a magical day for wonderful couples. Arielle & Dan's Fun Filled Westin Copley Wedding

11/14/2016

Arielle and Dan met at the Improv Asylum in Boston where Dan was a performer and Arielle was taking improv classes . They hit it off right away, as they both shared a great sense of humor and made each other laugh constantly! When they first told me about everything that would be happening at their wedding, I was ecstatic!! A 'first look' in Copley Square, writing their own vows and having a close friend as their officiant, performing not one, but two choreographed dances, a flash mob, AND a surprise improv show featuring some of their wedding guests! Everything about this wedding was truly unique, and so fun to capture! Thank you Dan and Arielle for having us be part of your special day :)

Elegant Spring Wedding At the State Room in Boston MA

It was one of those perfect spring days in Boston, and we were lucky enough to spend it with Jackie and Steve as they said their "I Do's". I started the day off early filming the girls getting ready at Tada Makeup Salon in Reading, MA, while Chris captured the guys getting ready at the Millennium Hotel in Boston. We reunited at St. Cecilia's Church for Steve and Jackie's wedding ceremony led by Father John. I loved how Jackie carried over the Boston theme into their reception decor with tables named after popular T-Stops throughout Boston. And the view from the State Room's floor to ceiling windows was breathtaking. One of my favorite moments from the night was listening to Jackie's Dad give a welcome toast, and sharing the story of how Steve proposed! The night flew by with the awesome entertainment by Kahootz Band- loved dancing along to some of my favorite songs while capturing this incredible party on film.
It was so awesome working with alongside photographer Suzanna March. She was an expert at finding the best light throughout the day, which made for stunning images! Here are a few of my favorites from their wedding blog. Clickhere to view Suzanna's blog and more photos from this beautiful wedding.

OK- if anyone is considering having their rehearsal dinner filmed- this is the perfect example of why capturing those moments are so important!! Virginia and Barrett both come from families of storytellers and poets...and it was truly a gift for us to watch their friends and family share the tales of how these two first met...fell in love, and stayed in love over long distance relationships, job changes, and moving 'up North'. Virginia and Barrett- you guys truly have something special, your respect and love for each other and close relationships with your family is inspiring. We wish you many many many more years of happiness together. Thank you so much for giving us the opportunity to film your wedding!
We are also so grateful to have had the planning team fromAE Events helping to organize this fun-filled wedding weekend- thank you for going above and beyond in your communication in the weeks leading up to the wedding, and being so wonderful to work with the day of! Stephanie C Olsen Photography- you're amazing...we had our hands full with 10+ hours and 4 different locations to shoot, and having you by our side made our job much easier! Click here to check out some of Stephanie's photos from the day here. I can't forget our favorite band- Hot Mess. Had so much fun singing and dancing while we captured Virginia and Barrett's dance party- can't wait to work together again!  So many more awesome vendors listed below :) Enjoy this love story- grab some tissues!
